Art Workshop Series by
Lorna Carmen McNeill – Bringing Inspiration to Life through Art
In an era where the need for beauty, inspiration and creativity is greater than ever before, this course is specially designed to help you reconnect with and free up your creativity to enable a creative awakening. This is for you whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking to break through a creative block or develop your practice in new directions. Re-ignite your imagination and explore new ways of making art in a fun, supportive environment.
Over the workshops, you will learn a series of skills in drawing, painting, design and colour mixing using a range of different art materials to help you liberate your creativity to promote unexpected creative discoveryin art and in your life. This course facilitates active experimentation and an exploration of creativity via all your senses. It will help to give you the confidence and discernment to realise which areas of artistic expression you wish to explore next.
Session Themes & Dates:
- 27th September:You Are the Creativity You Seek – Exploring the elements of design through expressive pastel techniques
- 4th October: Finding Flow – Loosen up your creativity with line and gestural drawing using ink and mixed media
- 25th October:From Darkness to Light – Creating tone and texture through dynamic mark-making
- 8th November: Colour as Celebration– Discover colour theory, mixing, and the emotional impact of colour through abstraction, shape, and composition
- 22nd November: Sensory Sparks – Use sound, taste, and smell as inspiration to explore emotion, scale, and movement in your artwork
